Round-up on how all our Claret and Blue loan stars performed this weekend. Starting with this week’s Star Man – Finn Azaz

*STAR MAN – FINN AZAZ

Finn Azaz has returned from injury where he left off – in fine form. The midfielder assisted twice as Plymouth Argyle defeated Cheltenham Town 4-2 at home. Ryan Hardie latched onto Finn Azaz’s defence-splitting pass and fired home from outside the box to give Plymouth a two-goal lead. After 64 minutes, Azaz provided another assist, this time putting Callum Wright in on goal to hammer home Argyle’s third goal. He was removed two minutes later.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Cameron Archer made his second appearance from the bench for Middlesbrough since joining the Championship side. Archer was introduced in the 65th minute with his side trailing by a goal-to-nil and down to ten men. Unfortunately, Archer was unable to help his side get anything from the game.
It finished with Sunderland winning 2-0 over Middlesbrough.
Cameron Archer Match Rating: 6.1 (WhoScored)

Jaden Philogene-Bidace started for Cardiff, who are currently searching for their third boss this season. Jaden made a sloppy mistake and provided the first charitable act by giving the ball away to the opposition, then his teammate allowed Bradshaw through on goal to score the only goal of the match for Millwall. Philogene was unfortunate not to get the equaliser, firing over with a half-volley.
Cardiff 0-1 Millwall
Jaden Philogene-Bidace Match Rating: 6.3 (WhoScored)

Tim Iroegbunam began the contest in front of the back four, as part of a two-man central defensive midfield, like he normally would. Iroegbunam had a decent game, putting in a shift for 89 minutes before being withdrawn. QPR drew 1-1 at home against Swansea.
Tim Iroebunam Match Rating: 6.9 (WhoScored)

Keinan Davis and Kortney Hause both remain sidelined for Watford, due to injuries.
