Louie Barry scored his first goal for MK Dons, giving him the “*STAR MAN” title this weekend. There were also starts for Aaron Ramsey, Keinan Davis, Kaine Kesler-Hayden, Viljami Sinisalo, Bertrand Traore and Wesley.

Let’s see how all our Claret and Blue loan stars performed this week.

*LOUIE BARRY

Louie Barry opened the scoring and scored his first goal for MK Dons in the 41st minute. Barry had the entire opposition half to himself after a counterattack from a Derby corner, before rounding goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith to smash home and celebrate in style. MK Dons’ lead lasted barely two minutes until Derby equalised just before half-time. As a precaution, Barry would be changed at the interval. Derby won an interesting contest after finishing their opportunities in the second half.

It ended: MK Dons 1-3 Derby County.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Aaron Ramsey started for Norwich City as the number 10 in a diamond midfield behind the attackers. Norwich took the lead early at home to Middlesbrough and Ramsey nearly added a second; A deflected shot forced Boro keeper, Steffen to react and parry a looping ball over the bar. Ramsey was withdrawn in the 71st minute with the teams level and Boro grabbed the winner in stoppage time.

It finished: Norwich City 1-2 Middlesbrough

Keinan Davis played the full 90′ minutes in a bore draw at winless in five, Bristol City. Davis and his Watford team-mates managed just two shots on goal (none on target) in the whole game. Davis was unable to beat the offside trap on a couple of occasions. The goalless draw and a much needed point, puts Watford fourth in the Championship.

Bristol City 0-0 Watford

Kaine Kesler-Hayden started for Huddersfield and got some much needed minutes under his belt. Hayden played just over an hour, 65′ minutes to be exact before being withdrawn. Hayden helped his side keep a clean sheet and get a point in a goalless 0-0 draw at home to Swansea City.

Kourtney Hause remains sidelined for Watford.

Tim Iroegbunam didn’t feature in the matchday squad for QPR due to illness.

Jaden Philogene-Bidace is on the Cardiff City injured list after receiving a knock last Saturday.

LEAGUE ONE

Viljami Sinisalo started for Burton Albion in an hugely entertaining 3-3 League One draw at the Pirelli Stadium against Charlton Athletic. Sinisalo was unable to keep the visitors at bay, when Charlton beat him twice before the home side responded. “The Brewers” got themselves level before going ahead in a dramatic comeback, only for Sinisalo to beaten again, in this thrilling encounter.

Finn Azaz remains on the injured list for Plymouth Argyle.

LEAGUE TWO

Caleb Chukwuemeka watched his side, Crawley Town beat Barrow 1-0 from the bench.

Tyreik Wright recently joined the Aston Villa Loanee injured list for Bradford City.

Hayden Lindley was not named in the matchday squad for Newport County’s 2-1 defeat to Stockport County.

SCOTLAND

Brad Young was an unused substitute in Ayr United’s 3-2 away day over Hamilton.

Ben Chrisene remains sidelined with an ankle injury. Chrisene should hopefully return to the Kilmarnock side in the coming weeks.

REST OF THE WORLD

Bertrand Traore played 63′ minutes for Istanbul Basaksehir, as they received a 7-0 drubbing to Galatasaray on home turf.

Wesley played 76′ minutes for Levante UD as they battered Olot 4-0 away from home in the First Round of Copa Del Rey.
