Louie Barry took his impressive scoring tally to five consecutive goals in as many league games.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden and Finn Azaz, both started for Plymouth Argyle; Viljami Sinisalo was back between the Exeter City goal posts; Seb Revan was named in the Rotherham squad, on the bench, for the first time since joining The Millers; Morgan Sanson also started for Nice.

*STAR MAN – LOUIE BARRY

Louie Barry scored for the fifth league game in a row against former club MK Dons to put the visitors ahead on the 17th minute mark. Barry cut inside before drilling a fine strike into the top corner.

Barry had perfect shot accuracy; his only shot in the game was his goal, which of course was a precise finish into the back of the net. The attacker had an 80% pass accuracy; two of them were key passes. He only had 24 touches but received a yellow card in the 75th minute, and 2 minutes later he was withdrawn.

It finished: MK Dons 1-2 Stockport County

CHAMPIONSHIP

Kaine Kesler-Hayden, who has secured a starting place for The Pilgrims, played the whole game away at Preston and nearly bagged himself a goal. With his side trailing two-nil after 25 minutes, Kaine Kesler-Hayden had a well-taken effort saved as the first half drew to a close.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden saw plenty of the ball as he touched it 67 times. He had a passing accuracy of 72.1% and made three key passes. He had 3 shots on goal; 1 was on target, and he won 1 aerial dual.

Finn Azaz also started for Plymouth Argyle and played the full 90.’ He went close for the Pilgrims soon after the restart, but his effort was just off the mark. Finn’s right-footed shot from the centre of the box just the wrong side of the right hand-side post. Azaz had three shots on goal in total.

Azaz had 65 touches with a passing accuracy of 75.5%. He made three key passes and won one aerial battle.

Seb Revan was an unused substitute in Rotherham United’s 2-0 away defeat at Huddersfield Town.


LEAGUE ONE

Viljami Sinisalo returned from International duty to retain his place as number one for Exeter City.

Exeter goalkeeper Sinisalo never had much to deal with in the first half at home to Cheltenham Town. However, with the sides goalless, Sinisalo made a terrific double save to deny Jovan Malcolm in the second half. Owen Bevan (Cheltenham Town) was denied by Sinisalo in stoppage time with a header, which was saved in the bottom left corner.

Viljami had 42 touches and a passing accuracy of 69.7% Sinisalo earned himself a well-deserved clean sheet and helped his side secure a victory. Exeter sit at the top of League One.

REST OF THE WORLD

Morgan Sanson started for Nice and played for 70′ minutes in a big away day victory over PSG in Ligue 1.

After just 5′ minutes, Sanson had an attempt on target, striking a right-footed shot from the right side of the box that was heading into the bottom right corner, but the PSG keeper intervened. It was his only attempt on goal during his time on the pitch.

The midfielder had 31 touches, made 2 key passes, and had a passing accuracy of 83.3%
