Louie Barry got his first Stockport goal, and Viljami Sinisalo impressed with a clean sheet. Finn Azaz and Morgan Sanson banked important minutes. Kaine Kesler-Hayden returned to action.

*STAR MAN: LOUIE BARRY

Louie Barry’s 66th-minute strike earned victory and secured Stockport’s first win of the season by beating Barrow in League Two.

The Hatters pushed for a goal and eventually took the lead through Barry, whose shot from outside the box thumped past Lillis.

Barry had 2 shots, 1 being on target and made 1 key pass. He had an impressive 83.3% passing accuracy and had 41 touches.

Stockport County 1-0 Barrow. Barry has now played in all five games for Stockport; Starting four of them.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Finn Azaz started his first league game of the season for The Pilgrims and put in a decent performance.

The Greens opened with a lovely move but the final shot from Azaz was blocked, Azaz had 3 shots during the contest and 1 was on target.

Azaz made 2 key passes and had a 78.6% passing accuracy. Azaz had 41 touches and lasted 80′ minutes before being withdrawn.

Also at Plymouth Argyle;

Kaine Kesler-Hayden was back in the starting line-up, after returning from a minor injury, after missing the last league game.

The first half ended goalless, despite a stoppage time effort from Kesler-Hayden that dipped inches over from 25 yards. He had 3 shots on goal but none worked the keeper.

Kaine had 40 touches during the 70′ minutes he was on the pitch and a passing accuracy of 72.7%

WHOSCORED RATING: 6.4

Plymouth and Southampton were drawing 1-1, when both Azaz and Kesler-Hayden were substituted. Southampton scored a stoppage-time winner, ending Plymouth’s unbeaten run of the campaign.

LEAGUE ONE

Viljami Sinisalo had a busy afternoon between the sticks for Exeter City and made a few decent saves.

Carlisle pushed for a goal; Maguire created an opening for Carlisle, heading a decent chance into Viljami Sinisalo’s grateful grasp. The City keeper was called into action again when Maguire fired low on 53 minutes. Carlisle had 6 shots on target; In which, Sinisalo confidently kept them out.

Sinisalo earned himself and his teammates a well deserved clean sheet and more importantly, his team got the victory.

REST OF THE WORLD

Morgan Sanson began the game for Nice in midfield, like he did in the opening match last weekend.

Sanson had an impressive 91.4% passing accuracy; 1 of them being a key pass and touched the ball a total of 51 times.

However, he had 2 shots and both of them was off target. Sanson was replaced after 78′ minutes.

Just as Nice did last weekend against Lille, it finshed;
