Cameron Archer made it 3 goals in 4 away games for Preston North End as they continue to climb up the Championship table.

There were starts for Keinan Davis and Jaden Philogene-Bidace as they went head-to-head, Louie Barry, Aaron Ramsey and Arjan Raikhy.

Frédéric Guilbert, Wesley, Anwar El Ghazi, Seb Revan, Tyreik Wright, Finn Azaz and Filip Marschall were also in action – let’s find out how they all performed..

Cameron Archer

Cameron Archer is enjoying life in the Championship, he’s setting the division on fire with his performances at Preston.

Archer was at it again, after his MOTM showing in his last outing (the goalless draw at home to Huddersfield to be precise)It was indeed Cameron Archer who scored the only goal of the game when it looked like Preston were heading for a repeat 0-0 draw, he superbly curled the ball into the top corner 10 minutes from time, to the delight of the visiting fans!

That sealed the 3 points for Preston North End against an competitive Peterborough.

Keinan Davis

Number 9 Keinan Davis started again for Nottingham Forest and would be involved for 54 minutes of the game against Stoke City at The City Ground before being withdrawn for Surridge.

Davis started bright, proving to be a nuisance for the opposition at times, he received a booking after 18 minutes in what was probably his toughest game in a Forest shirt.

It finished – Forest 2-2 Stoke.

Jaden Philogene-Bidace

JPB started for Stoke City and enjoyed a full 90 minutes causing havoc on the Forest defence in this entertaining encounter.

Jaden is quickly becoming a fan favourite amongst the Stoke faithful with his impressive performances.

The game finished all square -Nottingham Forest 2-2 Stoke City.

Louie Barry

Louie Barry would finally get to start for Swindon Town at the County Ground against struggling Scunthorpe and would prove to be a nightmare for the opposition defence.

A friend whom is a ST holder at Swindon gave me his verdict on Louie Barry and his overall performance.

Barry appears to have bulked up in his short spell at the club, I was fearing he’d be too lightweight for this division however he showed good strength in this one!

Louie played on the left flank, cutting in like his hero Jack Grealish and causing problems for the opposition defence, Louie wore his socks like Jack as well as his similar hair style – our “Jack Grealish from Wish” Haha!

Barry’s dangerous attacking display would win Swindon a penalty in the 85th penalty when he was brought down in the box – Swindon convert, 3-0.

Louie was then withdrawn in the 88th minute to great applause.

A dominant victory – Swindon Town 3-0 Scunthorpe

Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey would start the game for Cheltenham Town and enjoy the whole 90 minutes in the centre of midfield.

Jacobs little bro put in a solid display as his side Cheltenham would cruise to a comfortable 2-0 victory over Fleetwood.

Frédéric Guilbert

Guilbert was the star of the show in this hard fought victory for Strasbourg away to Angers in French Ligue 1. Guilbert helped his team keep a clean sheet and they won the game with a single goal. Frédéric’s performance put him in the whoscored.com Team of the Week and he also made the TOTW for Fifa22.

Guilbert would be withdrawn late on to a standing ovation from the Strasbourg fans.

Strasbourg currently sit in 4th spot on the division.

Anwar El Ghazi

Anwar El Ghazi would not only be in the matchday squad but this time he would actually get some minutes for Everton as they cruised past Leeds United by 3 goals to nil.

El Ghazi was introduced to the game in the 82nd minute, replacing the inform Anthony Gordon.

Tyreik Wright

Tyreik Wright started on the bench for Colchester in their home match with Carlisle.

Entering the play just after the hour mark with Colchester trailing 1-0, Wright would make an instant impact with Colchester grabbing an equaliser, then the substitute stabbed home after his first attempt had been blocked to put Colchester ahead!

Carlisle would however get an important equaliser near the end.

The game ended – Colchester 2-2 Carlisle.

Arjan Raikhy

Arjan Raikhy started for Grimsby Town and played a vital role in central midfield, helping his side to victory in an impressive 3-1 win over Aldershot.

Raikhy would compete for the full 90 minutes.

Finn Azaz

The 21 year old starlet is really making a name for himself in League Two and across the EFL. Finn won the EFL Young Player of the Month with his outstanding contributions in the month of January.

Azaz would start for Newport County against Oldham, which was an entertaining encounter.

Finn Azaz continued this red-hot form, grabbing an assist, and coming close to scoring himself.

It finished – Newport 3-3 Oldham.

Seb Revan

Seb Revan put in a Man of the Match worthy performance for Hereford as they comfortably won 2-0 on home soil. Seb would start for Hereford against Guiseley, playing the whole 90 minutes for “The Bulls.”

Although he didn’t win the overall votes, he still gave the Hereford faithful something to smile about.

Filip Marschall

The 18 year-old stopper is a regular starter between the sticks since joining Gateshead in January.

Marschall did his job well and was rewarded with a clean sheet as his team thumped Alfreton Town away from home.

Wesley Moraes

Wesley started for Sport Club Internacional and contributed for the full 90 minutes to help his side beat SER Caxias do sul by 1 goal to nil.

Jed Steer

Jed Steer was back at familiar place on the weekend known as St. Andrews aka Trillion Hazards Stadium aka The Sty.

Jed would be on the bench for this one as he watched his side Luton lose 3-0 to Birmingham City.

Conor Hourihane

After playing well in the last outing, Conor was dropped to the bench for this one as Sheffield United hosted Huddersfield.

Hourihane would not feature as his side played out a goalless stalemate.

Kaine Kesler-Hayden

Kesler-Hayden was also a victim of being benched for MK Dons.

The 19 year-old watched his team draw 0-0 with Ipswich without participating.

Lovre Kalinić

The Croatian International was not in the matchday squad for HNK Hajduk Split.

His team won 3-1 against Slaven Belupo.
