Aston Villa’s loan stars were among the goals this week; Ramsey bangs a brace; Bidace strikes for Cardiff; Wright bags for Bradford.

Let’s see how all our Claret and Blue loan stars performed this weekend.

*Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey was an unused substitute in the midweek loss to Burnley, but he was called upon to start this one and made the most of it. Ramsey openedΒ his Norwich accountΒ with a brace in front of his home fans. Ramsey scored from close range on 38 minutes and doubled Norwich’s advantage on 71′ minutes following a superb one-two with teammate Pukki. Norwich City would easily defeat Stoke City 3-1 at Carrow Road.

*Jaden Philogene-Bidace

Jaden Philogene-Bidace scored the game-winning goal for Cardiff City against Rotherham United at home. Philogene-Bidace received the ball from Romeo before wrongfooting three Rotherham players before turning back on his right foot to unleash a lovely precise strike inside the keepers left post in the 65th minute; Cardiff City 1-0 Rotherham United.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Tim Iroegbunam played the full 90′ minutes for QPR in a disappointing 2-0 away defeat at Birmingham City. Kaine Kesler-Hayden contnues to be wasted at Huddersfield and shut out of the matchday squad.

Kortney Hause returned to the Watford bench but was an unused substitute. His Aston Villa and now Watford teammate, Keinan Davis was sidelined for the 1-0 away day win at Wigan.

LEAGUE ONE

Finn Azaz had to be subbed off before half-time because of an injury, in Plymouth’s 2-1 midweek victory at home to Shrewsbury Town. It is yet to be determined whether Azaz will be involved for Plymouth Argyle, in Monday nights derby at home to rivals Exeter City.

Louie Barry played 75 minutes for MK Dons in their 2-0 away win against Charlton on Tuesday night. On Saturday, Barry would play 66 minutes and might have broken the goalless deadlock, but for a crucial challenge from the opposing defence. Cheltenham drew 0-0 with MK Dons.

Viljami Sinisalo watched his teammates concede a total of six goals in two games from the bench. A 2-1 defeat against Bolton on Tuesday night and an eventful 4-2 defeat away at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

LEAGUE TWO

Tyreik Wright was an important factor in Bradford City getting two points this week. On Tuesday night, he gave the Bantams the lead with his 3rd goal of the season, only for Swindon Town to equalise in stoppage time in a 1-1 draw. On Saturday, Bradford went in front after 55 minutes when Tyreik Wright played Dion Pereira through to give Bradford the lead, only for them to concede 10 minutes later in another 1-1 draw against Crawley Town.

Caleb Chukwuemeka was again, not in the matchday squad for Crawley Town. Hayden Lindley was also missing from the matchday squad for Newport County.

SCOTTISH

Ben Christine is out of action for Kilmarnock; They lost 1-0 to St. Johnstone.

Brad Young played 64′ minutes for Ayr United, as part of a front two in a 2-0 away day win over Arbroath. Young looked lively for Ayr United and his side moved three points clear at the top of the Scottish Championship after the victory.

ABROARD

Wesley and Levante host Real Sporting under the lights for some Monday night football.

Bertrand TraorΓ© and Istanbul Basaksehir play Giresunspor on Monday afternoon.
