Wednesday the 14th July 2021 – Kit Launch Day!

Aston Villa released the new home shirt for the 2021/22 season with some cracking images of John McGinn, Tyrone Mings, Ollie Watkins and Jack Grealish inside Villa Park, but when we look back on this day, it will not be remembered for the release of the new kit – but for the unleashing of CODE: VILLAVJHDVYU

Villa Twitter delivered exactly what it was built for – banter!

I was given the code on WhatsApp from a friend and couldn’t believe it worked – £30 off, instantly ordering the new home shirt for the total of £27 – I then forwarded it on to the UTV PODCAST group where the spree continued with Luke and Justin wading in, an hour later and it’s leaked on Twitter, and my god, I was in stitches for the rest of the evening!

I’ll try and recap some of the evening’s tweets!
