Round-up on how all our Claret and Blue loan stars performed this weekend. Starting with this week’s Star Man – Kaine Kesler-Hayden

*KAINE KESLER-HAYDEN

Kaine Kesler-Hayden scored his first goal for Huddersfield Town, which proved to be the game-winning goal in the Championship side’s late comeback victory against Preston. The Terriers trailed by one goal at halftime and had to fight back late for a much-needed win. Kesler-Hayden, an Aston Villa loanee, scored at the far post five minutes from time, giving bottom-of-the-table Huddersfield three vital points.

CHAMPIONSHIP

Jaden Philogene-Bidace started for Cardiff City in a 0-0 bore-draw at home to QPR. Philogene played 67′ minutes before being withdrawn for the home side, who failed to have a single shot on target. Tim Iroegbunam was also part of the snooze fest draw but for the opposite side. Iroegbunam played 80′ minutes for QPR.

Keinan Davis had a penalty shout denied in the first half for Watford as they suffered a 2-0 home defeat against Millwall. Davis led the line for the Hornets and caused the opposition problems on numerous occasions, winning free-kicks and posing an attacking threat. Davis played the whole game, but his team left empty-handed. Kortney Hause was not in the line-up for Watford.

Aaron Ramsey missed his third match due to a serious knee injury as Norwich slumped to a 2-1 defeat away to Luton Town. The game would prove to be the last for manager Dean Smith, who signed the 19-year-old on loan from his former club, Aston Villa.
