Aston Villa have confirmed the transfer of Morgan Sanson, who has joined Ligue 1 side OGC Nice on a season-long loan.

The 28-year-old midfielder, whom played at Strasbourg for the second-half of last season, returns to his native France to play for “Le Gym.”
Florent Ghisolfi, Le Gymβs sporting director, said this about Morgan Sanson:
“Morgan is a mature player who knows Ligue 1 inside out. He joins us on loan with an option to buy, but weβd like him to be a long-term addition. Heβs an ambitious lad who will bring his experience and his talent to the team.β
He added:
βMorganβs physical attributes mean that heβs a very busy player, and heβll be able to contribute all of his technical quality and vision to the team.β
