What a superb weekend it’s been for the travelling Villa faithful, none more so than for Adam Reapa, Chris Kavanagh, Chris Freville and Mark McLachlan who made the journey to The People’s Pension Stadium to see Aston Villa’s Women maintain their unbeaten start to the season with a 0-1 win! UP THE VILLA!
Let’s see how those travelling fans rated our star’s in claret and blue.

Dependable as usual, solid at the back, won a lot of 50/50 balls and broke up play with great energy.
Meaghan Sergeant – 8.5
Solid in defence always on hand when needed and was always there to win defensive headers.
Anita Asante – 8
Reads the game well and is always one step ahead of the attackers, works effortlessly at times it seems.

Maz Pacheco – 7
Would be an 8 but we didn’t see any nutmegs today. Always works hard and is dependable.
Freya Gregory – 7
Worked hard on the wing with Maz to make sure Brighton didn’t get forward and won us a fair few set pieces.
In association with #HerGameToo
Chloe Arthur – 8
She bossed the midfield, created chances and looked to create some clever through balls for the Villa attack.

Always in the thick of it and putting in a real captains innings. Marshalled the troops well throughout the game.
Chantelle Boye-Hlorkah – 8
Worked her socks off, up and the down wing. Always a threat going forward for the team.
